Well, 1st let me start off by saying… “what an amazing experience”! The Watoto Children’s Choir was in town yesterday to record for my new song “It’s Gonna Be Alright” Featuring my good friend Israel Houghton. I had the Idea for Watoto to be on the song about two years ago. I talked with Israel about it way back then and he was able to help me out and make this vision and dream become a reality. The kids showed up around noon yesterday on their beautiful bus. They were so excited to be there and to be on the song with me and IZ. I stepped onto the bus and told all the kids I was so grateful for them being there and excited to have them be a part of the project. It was funny because most of them didn’t believe it was me, as they said I looked so different due to my weight loss LOL. You could feel the excitement in the air, from the moment they stepped off the bus. We began to take pictures and get acquainted with each other. I fell in love with the kids instantly. Soon after we took them into the studio and began to show them the song and the part they needed to learn and memorize. Cameras were everywhere to capture the excitement as TBN and JCTV were on board to film our recording session and this great experience. I ordered pizza for everyone to make sure they were fueled up and ready to go. Most of the children were happy to see that their favorite American food “Pizza” had arrived. To try and explain to you how amazing this session was, is nearly impossible, thats why we will be posting footage up for you to see in the near future. The children sang “It’s Gonna Be Alright” and “He’s Got the Whole World in His Hands” in their amazing, angelic voices. We also had them say “it’s gonna be alright” in their native African tongues. The adults sung the hook as well and added the world sound we needed to take the song to another level. 
For those of you who may not know much about the Watoto Children’s Choir, let me break it down for you. The Watoto Childrens Choir has performed at places such as the Grammy’s, in front of Queen Elizabeth at Buckingham Palace, and even for the president of the USA at the White House. Their story is amazing. Each one of the choir members are orphans, having lost their parents to either war, or diseases such as HIV/AIDS. Wow I am speechless. So moved by Whitney’s funeral service today on TV. Her life was not in vain, the bible says “what the devil meant for evil, He will turn it around for your good.” He just used Whitney to take the world to church for 4 hours. Please keep her family in your prayers. Thank you CNN, MSNBC, E and all the other networks for broadcasting the “GOOD NEWS” and not blotting out the Gospel with the “bad news”. Now take some time and think about this… When God decides to take you home, what will your LEGACY be?

Wow. So sad that the Grammys started with a prayer and ended with a curse. SMH. Please Pray for Nikki. She is LOST and in desperate need of a savior. This just adds fuel and reminds me of why I do what I do. Kids don’t need to be exposed and influenced by this foolishness. What they need is the GOSPEL! Thank God that we have power over darkness. The victory belongs to the Lord!!!!
It was an honor to meet you in Hemet yesterday. I am so pleased that you had the opportunity to meet and record songs with the Watoto choir. They are an amazing group of children and my wife and I were bless to have had the opportunity to host three of them in the San Diego area 12/11-12/13/11. I know you got to know Sheba quite well. She was the Auntie that stayed with us. Her life story is an eye opener. We hope to hear more from you in the future, and we are partnered in different ways with the kids. It would be nice to know when you and Israel will be in the San Diego area, so we can see you and/or chat again. GOD Bless.
